The fretboard is clean but the first several frets do have some wear. The back of the resonator does have a hint of button scratching but it’s so light it can be hard to see. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and this banjo looks new!! The banjo was already in great shape so there aren’t a bunch of nicks or dings or much of any sign of use at all. We disassembled the banjo and buffed all of the metal with a high powered buffer and waxed all of the wood. This also includes a very sturdy Crossrock hardshell case.This has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse. I know serious musicians that use Vintage Japanese Banjos as their main banjo because the value is exceptional on these.
